The One Billion Trees Initiatives

Kitabisa ORG has launched the One Billion Trees for Indonesia Movement in response to the alarming rise of deforestation, which reached 175,400 hectares in 2024. Using the creative method of seed bombs, this movement invites individuals, communities, and companies to take part in reforestation efforts that are simple yet impactful.

The initiative not only fosters collective action to protect the environment but also supports Indonesia’s national target of FOLU Net Sink 2030 and aligns with SDG 15 on Life on Land. By promoting an easy, fun, and participatory approach, the One Billion Trees Movement aims to inspire more people to contribute to preserving and restoring Indonesia’s forests in a sustainable way.
